Our underbust corsets are perhaps the most versatile of the collection, and form an important part of a daily tightlacers wardrobe. They make the most practical of training corsets, allowing more discreet wear beneath daily clothing, but that doesn’t mean they’re reserved for sensible purposes alone.

We offer three main styles of underbust, a twelve panelled piece, an Edwardian style and a fourteen panelled piece which you can select from the menu to your right. Each of these styles can be modified with a great variety of features, curved or pointed bases, extended suspenders that appear to grow from the corset itself, high, sweeping backs or clusters of exterior bone casings. Every corset we create is centered around a core of traditional manufacturing techniques and an individual approach to each pieces unique design, but we can turn these durable, steadfast garments into confections of lace and crystal, ruffled satin, and decadent jewel toned silks for dancers on the Paris burlesque scene, elaborate and innovative interpretations of a concept for models, and edgy pieces of stage wear for musicians. Each corset we make is a collaboration between client and maker. It’s all in what your imagination brings to the table.
