These charming corsets use a more intricate set of panels than the traditional vertical pieces employed in our other underbusts. Edwardian style corsets incorporate slanted or diagonal panels and often godets or hip gussets. They typically feature a more pronounced long line and sway over the hips for superior smoothing and, in many clients’ estimation, a more comfortable wear. Edwardian corsets are often associated with the fabled “S-curve” shape, which, while we can provide on request, we do not build in as standard. The inspiration for these pieces comes from the poised aesthetic and the delicate lines of the originals, with sophistication and glamour at its heart.
